* FXO Gateway – Provide PSTN Access number for users to call in and make calls through IVR






 * FXS Gateway – Make calls through IVR by just picking up the phone set connected to the FXS adaptor or gateway

Typical Calling Card Call flow for authorization and processing

* Customer dial the calling card access number, the call request was sent to the FXO line through PSTN network;( for FXO Gateway system); Or Customer go to the call place and pick up the phone which is connected to the FXS line;(for FXS Gateway system);

* Through the preset hotline configuration, the FXO/FXS Gateway will forward this call request to the hosting calling card system immediately;

* Hosting Calling Card system will recognize this call request and answer the call to connect the customer to calling card IVR menu;

* Hosting Calling Card system will Play “Please enter your account number”;

* Customer enter his card number, Hosting Calling Card system will verify this number with its database;

* When the card number go through the authorization, Hosting Calling Card system will Play back the card balance with “Your have xxx dollars and yyy cents in this account, please enter your destination number following by the # key”;

* Customer enter the destination number, Hosting Calling Card system will check the rate of this destination and calculate the maximum allowed talking time for this call, then Play “Your current balance will allow you to talk for xxx hours and yyy minutes”;

* Hosting Calling Card system will route this call to the destination number, customer will hear the ring back tone then start conversation when another party pick up the call;

* When the talk duration is one minute less than the maximum allowed time, Hosting Calling Card system will play “You have 60 seconds left in this call” to remind the customer;

* During the call conversation, customer can press “*” to end current call session immediately and following by the voice prompt to make another phone call;

* When a call is finished, the Call Detail Record was saved in the database and show up on the web page, the customer will get voice prompt for current card balance and was allowed to make another phone call;
